PRIX Montblanc

Since 2005 Montblanc is honouring young emerging instrumentalists in the classical music world with the PRIX Montblanc.

The first musician to be awarded the PRIX Montblanc was the young violinist Tianwa Yang during the 2006 Montblanc Friendship Tour in Beijing. She was followed 2007 by the young pianist Natasha Paremski. The 2008 PRIX Montblanc went to the 23-year-old Russian violinist Alina Ibragimova and now in 2009 the jury has chosen Nikolai Tokarev.
